Introduction

DocBook is often used to generate print and HTML based versions of documentation

HTML version of document is well-suited for on-line reading and browsing, but not for heavy using

HTML version can not be fulltext searched without additional tools

there are help formats which are very user friendly – e.g. HTML Help and Java Help

so why not generate them directly from DocBook
